DIVERSITY DIVE! – ‘Keepers’ by Bruce Brown
DIVERSITY has been a contentious word in America since the time of President Obama, the “Great Divider,” as Thomas Sowell calls him.
For some, diversity is a rallying cry, for others an insult.
So in America today, we have dueling, politicized acronyms. In this corner, we have neo-liberalism and the feminized Democratic Party of Nancy Pelosi and Hilary Clinton and Kamala Harris with DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion), and in the other corner we have the neo-conservatism of Elon Musk and Donald Trump and J.D. Vance with MEI (Merit, Excellence and Intelligence).
It’s easy to see what MEI brings to the table because Merit, Excellence and Intelligence have long been winning attributes in human endeavors.
But what about DEI? Diversity Equity and Inclusion are new standards without any real historical underpinning. So how is DEI working out in the real world?

The point here is that “Diversity, Equality and Inclusion” has been a disaster for many communities in America. The people on this list — only a few of whom are white or male — are all expressions of the liberal Democrats’ DEI agenda.
Stated simply, DEI has cost the American public a great deal of money and ruined innocent people’s lives. And in the cases of Vice President Kamala Harris and Fulton County, GA Prosecutor Fani Willis and Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle and the “DEI hires” at the Secret Service who were guarding President Trump in Butler, PA on July 13, 2024, these women’s poor performance has affected the 2024 U.S. Presidential election!
I think it is also worth noting that most (but not all) of these women would NOT have gotten these jobs if MEI was the criterion instead of DEI. Why? Because most do no MERIT the jobs. They lack the EXCELLENCE and INTELLIGENCE to perform the jobs adequately, let alone excel!
Then there is the fact that DEI is unabashedly RACIST AND DISCRIMINATORY AGAINST WHITES, and should therefore be outlawed on both federal and local levels on those grounds alone.
In truth, though, we are all victims of this ‘Diversity/Equity’ [DEI] nonesense, which simply means that anyone who is white is suppressed, especially younger white males.
It’s time to get the best person for the job, not the one that meets the racist and sexist biases of American liberals/Democrats.
