‘Sh’beg Sh’more’ – Jack Isadore meets Dr. Dum d’Dum (acoustic guitar / electric bass duet)

GOT PEACE AND BEAUTY? A couple years ago, I came to the conclusion that world did not have enough of either, so I recorded a series of classical guitar/electric bass duets that attempted to address this need.

On this one, I join Jack Isadore on the old Irish song, Sh’beg Sh’more. Jack plays classical guitar, and I play electric bass under my nom d’ruse, Dr. Dum d’Dum.

The weaving dance of these two musical voices has a surprisingly modern air, yet remains true to the spirit of the Ancients. Jack Isadore’s original solo recording of Sh’beg Sh’more is here —    • O’Carolan: Si Bhe…  . Check it out. It inspired me!
