More of Dan's Doings:
The 'Jaw Walk' on Jaws

mb1_110700.jpg (57738 bytes) Alex Adriance going off the drop at the end of the Jaw Walk.

THIS IS SWEET! Jaws, another trail from Dan Waters (he of Chutes and Ladders and Dan's Trail), serves up the Jaw Walk right off the bat.

The desceptively benign-looking low catwalk runs innocently to the mid-point, at which a sweet banked turn carries it around to face a series of platforms narrowing to a 2x4 from which the rider must drop back to the trail.

Oh yes, there is also an alternate catwalk route to the right that doesn't require a wheelie drop to exit the Jaw Walk, if you get that far.

In the photos below, 16-year old Alex Adriance shows how it's done. Remember, GalbraithMt.com recommends studying all stunts like this before riding them the first time. Better yet, watch someone who knows what they're doing ride it.
